.In my last post few days back I talked extensively on the portraits, images, books pamphlets or biblical story books, statues or any sort of materials portraying Christ facial expressions is idolatry or any scientific investigation base on research which is not concluded because of lack of evidence should be uprooted out of our minds,.what I still don’t fathomed about Christian believers and the creed d tat they follow is overwhelming I don’t know their why and the essence of their Christianity if filthiness is attached to it through our conducts and worship to YAHWEH and his son Jesus Christ ….  I still remember vividly what happened to the children of Israelites in mount Sinai, when they made the golden calf and worshipped it what was their outcome destruction and Gods anger blaze on them who wholely and deliberately worship the idol,.is it not an images a statue craft out of precious metals  per se..OK what does DANIEL chapter 3 says about  IDOLATRY of course the three Hebrew men refuse to worship a golden image craft or made by for Nebuchadnezzar the Babylonian king,.a very familiar story indeed with hidden truth about images worship and their popularity in our Christian circles..don’t get it wrong if Gods anger which was bought back through Christ sacrificial death should not be taken for granted   for his grace is not foolishness by default but by lovingkindness and Mercy through the lamp,.the use of images in our worship is detrimental to our Christian life,… What about the first commandments,.is to have no gods before him (exo 20:3,.deut 5:7).in addition, the construction of any images or the mention of its names was prohibited or forbidden,. The people would be binding themselves to an allegiance other than YAHWEH..What about the use of other architectural designs or images from artist in our homes?? yes such is the beauty of nature and its creative works it is not IDOLATRY or ANTICHRISTIAN,. what is detrimental here is the use of religious beings or figures at our worship or services to the creator when he says no to such things..but be mindful giving credence to images beyond physical recognition is IDOLATRY and one can be binding to it and the result is reverencing it in your heart which leads to IDOLATRY because the  bibles says. rightly said by Christ he says if you look at a woman and uncover her nudity in your heart Is adultery same principles or theory is applicable here,.something which goes beyond physical activity or recognition is reverence to that thing or an entity..   Theologically the reason given for prohibiting idols is that God is unique and unrepresentable (deut 4:15-17),.states that Israel saw no form of God at Sinai ,therefore ,they were not to make any image of him or any other object of creations, failure to acknowledge God as sovereign creator opens the door to IDOLATRY and spiritual blindness .      The fact that IDOLATRY would continue to be a threat to the church  is underscored by the many references to the worship of the image such image is a threat to your Christian life…       Friends let’s eliminate IDOLATRY out of our Christian life style ,.Paul’s commendation to the Thessalonians he says believers emphasize their turning from the service of idols to the service of the living and true God..YAHWEH…thanksModern day IDOLATRY will be coming soon….thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Osamwonyi

Why I think that those who criticize the Christian artistic tradition for always presenting Christ as a northern European are wrong.I have read a number of articles over the years that criticize the traditional representation of Christ as historically inaccurate and exemplary of historical northern European cultural bias.(please read on)Twice recently I have heard this discussion sparked off by the discovery of human remains in the Holy Land which date from the time of Christ, which have allowed scientists to create an image of the person from whom the bones came. The figure that is recreated is, surprise, surprise, olive-skinned and Semitic-looking, and so this indicates,. so the logic goes, what Christ would probably have looked like?? This being so,it demonstrates how narrow minded Europeans are, and how culturally narrow Christianity is for portraying Christ as a white, Caucasian..Here is my reaction: first, if ever there was a concocted news piece this was one – do we really need the discovery of a skull as evidence that a Jew living in the Middle East about 2,000 years ago might have been dark skinned and Semitic-looking? I think nearly every Christian today would at least be open to the idea with too feeling that their faith was threatened, and it wouldn’t require the discovery of a skull to convince them …OK lets see some of the techniques used by some scientists to determine the facial recognition of Christ Jesus..first..1 computerised tomography to create x-rays,2 physical anthropology.3 forensic anthropology.4 physical and biological sciences.5 primatology / paleoanthropology. (Study of primates).6 fields like nutrition, dentistry and climate adaptation play a role in this types of investigations..  I feel reasonably as it is for him to be painted as an African for an African congregations or as a Chinese for a Chinese congregations or as a European for a European congregations or as a North or south American audiences too. as in the painting I will display later in this article,..On the contrary according to the gospel of Matthew when Jesus was arrested in the garden of Gethsemane before the crucifixion, Judas Iscariot had to indicate to the soldiers whom Jesus was because they could not differentiate him from its disciples,. Further more clouding the questions of what Jesus looked like is the simple fact that no were in the new testament is Jesus described nor have any drawing of him ever been uncovered..There is additional problem of having neither a skeleton nor other bodily remain to probe for DNA ,in the absence of evidence our images of Jesus have been left to the imagination of artists,. While Western imagery is dominant in other parts of the world he is often shown as blacks, Arabs, Hispanics “and so the fundamental questions remains, …what did Jesus look like??????,…It still beats my imagination that a lot of believers who proclaim themselves as Christians or practice Christianity as a religion are not aware of this controversy that covered their eyes as a veil on the eyes of Christians,.hundreds thousands, millions or billions of Christians past or present buy different images which portrays the facial expressions of Christ Jesus unknowingly to them that they are furthering the artists craftiness in terms of artistic expressions,.Besides this aforementioned facts many Christian take to their heel by kneeling down to this images or sculptural work of this artisans forgetting the structural base principles outlined in the bible,.” Thou shall not bow down before any images before me”,..why do we forget this basic doctrinal statement,… Why why why….??? a large extent  every growing child support the fact that those portraits represent Christ Jesus,.If I should ask!!! Are parent not responsible for the decline of basic training and teachings of what the bible teaches??????,…this is plainly idolatry which they teach to their children unknowingly to them because they don’t have the knowledge and the truth in them..I shed tears for the present generations of children that are inculcated with this lies that comes as picture representation………..what a myth!!!!?????Ask yourself this question did Christ Jesus ever look like this???????Thanks ..!!!!!!!,…always osamwonyi
